Terroir: 
Jurassic clay and limestone chaulk facing south at  10 to 20% of slope.
Claude and Lydia Bourguignon renomed wine geologist say that it is the depth of the clay which characterises the terroir which is more influential upon the red than the white.

Grapes varieties:
Chardonnay 

Planting:
1.20 x 1.00 which means 8333 vines to the hectare

Yield:
35 hl/ha

Wineyard work:
The wineyard work between vines without herbicide with our own compost and organic products.
Handpicking and grape selection at best maturity.

Wine making:

Maceration and fermentation 3-4 weeks malolactic and maturing 12 to 18 months on thinned lee in barriques.

 

 

 

 

Cuvée belmont 
 

80% CABERNET FRANC, 20% SYRAH
Dark ruby with blackberry, black current, violet, rose and some wilder notes.
Fresh and generous on the palate but not saky, then chocolate and spicy complex and very tinkable.

Cuvée  Syrah 
 

100 % SYRAH, from our younger vines only 6 month in cuve has preserved the typical fruit on Syrah.
It has scents of violet and berries and is rich and spicy.

Cuvée Grande SYRAH " s "
 

This 100 % SYRAH  is from the best plots of the domaine where careful plant selection and grafting is now bearing fruit.
Deep in colour, this has real finesse precision freshness and spicy liquorice and violet rich in fruit from the chalky terroir.
